L’unità, che sostituisce la motovedetta costiera classe 500, ha prestazioni e caratteristiche nettamente superiori: con un equipaggio di 5 militari, è lunga oltre 12 metri ed ha un dislocamento (peso) a pieno carico di oltre 11 tonnellate. Dotata di due motori diesel da 240 CV l’uno, può raggiungere la velocità massima di 21 nodi con una autonomia di oltre 22 ore di navigazione; la motovedetta ha qualità nautiche in grado di consentire, anche in condizioni meteomarine non ottimali, un’ampia possibilità di intervento nei settori della vigilanza alle normative sulla navigazione, nautica da diporto, pesca, inquinamento e tutela del patrimonio artistico subacqueo. The unit,that replaces the 500 class coastal patrol boat,has much higher performance and characteristics: with a crew of 5 military is over 12 meters long and has a displacement (weight) at full load over 11 tons. Equipped with 2 diesel engines of 240 Hp each, it can reach a top speed of 21 knots with a range of over 22 hours of navigation,the patrol boat seaworthiness can allow,even in non optimal weather conditions,a large scope of intervention in areas and medium range sea patrol. |
