English: Although I've covered 98% of the UK rail network there are still a few irritating little bits left to do. One of these was the loop through Weston-super-Mare off the GWR mainline. So on returning from Exeter this week, my Wife dropped me at Worle station so I could get a Cardiff-Taunton stopping service through Weston and out to Highbridge. I was more than a little surprised when the service was operated by an HST "short" set - 2 + $. Grossly over-powered for this service but ironically, running late because the regular clientele do not realise that HST doors are NOT automatic - they leave them open and the Train Manager has to walk the full length of the platform closing all the doors it would appear. Still a nice little run and probably my last on a GWR HST.
