Description
Carved head of a person with simple inscription at the base. Described in Eboracum as "Head of a young man, 10ins by 1ft 8ins, freestanding and set diagonally on a square base and derived from the corner of a tomb or its precinct wall. His hair is swept back in tongue-like locks, with the base of a tongue-like feather at the apex, indicating that the figure was one of the winds.
