Okay, so I hadn't shot a seascape for ten weeks!!!! I recruited Luke to my cause and we planned to head down south yesterday morning. Set the alarm for 3:50am (nobody can say us photographers are not committed and passionate) and we toodled down south to catch sunrise. I can't tell you how good it felt to be stood in the ocean again, I got completely soaked but it was so worth it. The sky didn't really go off yesterday morning though it was very bright. The poor old Cokin P's struggled with the dynamic range so I am probably going to order some Lee filters this week. I was shooting bracketed to try and save the sky. I actaully didn't take that many photos yesterday morning because I have come to the conclusion it is quality, not quantity. I spent a lot more time in the field thinking about my composition and the arrangement of elements within the frame.
