Description
English: Microtubules inhibit contractility in NIH3T3 mitotic cells. A, NIH3T3 cells stably expressing mCherry-α-tubulin undergo normal mitosis within an hour. B, Nocodazole was added one hour after the beginning of the movie. Seven hours later the cell detached from the plate, entered mitosis and immediately started to contract for more than 7 hours.
