Château Gaillard ist eine zerstörte mittelalterliche Festung im Zentrum des Vexin normand in der Gemeinde Les Andelys und im Département Eure, 100 Kilometer von Paris entfernt. Sie wurde von Richard Löwenherz, König von England beherrschend über dem Tal der Seine auf einem Kalkfelsen errichtet. Der Bau hat rund 50.000 Livres gekostet.
