English: DOC-1-GFP and SOFT-mCherry oscillate with identical dynamics in opposing tips during chemotropic interactions. Time course of DOC-1-GFP and SOFT-mCherry localization to tips of interacting germlings. The oscillation of both proteins was observed. When SOFT-mCherry (red) localized to the tip of one germling, DOC-1-GFP (green) localized to the tip of the interaction partner. When SOFT-mCherry was absent from the tip of one germling, DOC-1-GFP was absent from the tip of the interaction partner. |
