Children working at night. Lamp glows at the ceiling.

7:30 P.M. January 29, 1912. Making violets, and they often work later. Pollinni family, 5 Carmine St., New York, NY, living in a rear tenement. The six year old helps some. The eight, ten, and twelve year olds work later than this at times. Brothers, 15 and 17 years old, work in factory.
