Summary

edit
Description There was a wave of Chinese immigration in the first half of the last century to Peru, but Chinese immigration in recent decades has all but dried up. While there are Chinese restaurants ("Chifa") everywhere in Lima, most Chinese have intermarried with local Peruvians, and one rarely sees a Chinese face even in Lima's Chinatown.
