NB. Zij fietste de lengte van een Elfstedentocht in het kader van een verloren weddenschap met Elfstedentocht winnaar Reinier Paping om op 29 april 1963 in 10.59 uur een bedrag van 50.000 gulden bij elkaar te bellen voor de stichting van een nieuw jeugdgebouw in Purmerend. Uiteindelijk is het bedrag wel binnengekomen maar niet binnen de afgesproken tijd.
