Description Chusquea cumingii, otoño en el cerro Talinay, al sur de Huentelauquén, región de Coquimbo. No hay colectas de C. cumingii entre el fundo Palo Colorado (sur de Los Vilos), por el sur, y Fray Jorge por el norte, sin embargo es posible encontrar matas en todos los cerros costeros de mas de 700 mts, que alcanzan el umbral de disminución térmica que genera neblinas o camanchaca la cual condensa en la vegetación. En este caso C. cumingii creciendo en el cerro Talinay al sur de Huentelauquén.
