| Description | some of the cobbled roads like this in the mountains went on for miles and miles. And if they were well made,with smooth regular blocks as here, cycling over them was no problem. Damage ahead, though, has been remedied rather sloppily here. Some roads were made of large glaciated, rounded boulders which were almost unrideable on narrow tyres. More frequently found in that style in Brandenburg/Mecklenburg. |
