Description
English: Memorial on the south wall of Christ Church, Oxton, to George Walker Cochran (d. 10th October 1918 aged 59). Cochran had been on the Royal Mail Steamer Leinster, operated by the City of Dublin Steam Packet Company. It sailed between Kingstown (Dún Laoghaire) and Holyhead until it was torpedoed by a German submarine while bound for Holyhead.
