English: Reverse of a c. 210 bronze sestertius of Septimius Severus held by the National Archaeological Museum (Museo Archeologico Nazionale) in Florence, Italy. The inscriptions read VICTORIAE BRITANNICAE ("Of British Victory") and SC (Senatus Consultato, "With the Consultation of the Senate" or "By Order of the Senate"). Two winged Victories hang a shield on a central palm tree flanked by two sitting and bound captives.
