| Description |
English: Well, here we are bang in the centre of the Hackney conservation zone. To the west we have the oldest building in the borough, the 13th Century St Augustine's Tower, to the north, the impressive Church of St John : late 18th centure. To the East the most agreeable Sutton Place, leading to Sutton House (NT). And then we have this little beauty forming the focus of all the others. Been like this for years. I preferred it when the dumped Plaxton luxury coach was in the forecourt. Sadly that has gone,giving it a slightly up-market look. I believe it was once the premises of the Metal Box Company. I think it should be listed as it is. To pull it down would be a tragedy.
