Italiano: Il Castello di Copertino ingloba una fortezza sorta in epoca normanna e ampliata successivamente dagli Angioini. Ha una pianta quadrangolare ai cui vertici si innestano quattro possenti baluardi a lancia. Lungo il perimetro si misurano novanta feritoie distribuite su tre ordini separati da una cornice marcapiano. Dall'esterno è possibile distinguere il maschio a base scarpata realizzato nel XIII secolo
