Nederlands: Beschrijving Nederlandsche Bank

Gezicht van de hoek Rokin / Langebrugsteeg op de Oude Turfmarkt en het Rokin. Links de toenmalige nummers Oude Turfmarkt 46, 47, 49 en 50, bij de aanplempingen van 1860 gesloopt, ongeveer t.h.v. de huidige nummers 125-127. Op de achtergrond de Doelenbrug, de Engelse Huizen op het Schapenplein of Muntplein en de Munttoren. Rechts de huizen Rokin 140 (ged.), 142, enz. Nummer 168 is de rooms-katholieke schuilkerk Het Boompje, met in het water ervoor een drijvend badhuis. Litho naar tekening van Cornelis Springer (afb. 010097001158) die op zijn beurt teruggaat op een tekening van Augustus Wijnantz. (afb. 010055000290). Uit: Nieuwe Gezigten van Amsterdam en Omstreken naar de Natuur Geteekend door C. Springer, bij Frans Buffa.
