Description "Court House, New Orleans, La."

Turn of the century postcard view of the New Orleans Courthouse. Building was constructed 1893-1895, located at Tulane Avenue & Saratoga Street (now Loyola Avenue). Courts were moved from here to the new complex at Tulane & Broad 1928 - 1931); building was used by the WPA in the 1930s and demolished in the 1940s. Location is now site of the main branch of the New Orleans Public Library.
