Coutts, Alberta border crossing into the USA In 2004, a joint border facility opened in Coutts, Alberta – Sweet Grass, Montana, housing both Canadian and American federal authorities. Coutts is a village in Alberta and the location of one of the busiest Canada – US border crossings in western Canada.
