DescriptionCurvy bridge on Highway 1.jpg | We drove this stretch of road on a gorgeous day in May 2010 as part of our "School's Finally Out for the Summer" tour. Highway 1 is an incredibly scenic road - you take it for the views, not to make good time. The road hugs the coastline offering expansive views both seaward and to the inland mountains. There are also a number of great state parks along the way but we only had a chance to stop at one of them - so I guess we have to return to hit the others! | ||
