Summary
editDescriptionCustoms and Immigration form signed by Apollo 11 astronauts after returning from the Moon.jpg |
English: After returning from the very first Moon landing, astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins jokingly filled out this customs-and-immigration form. The form was posted on the official website of the United States Border Patrol in 2009, in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Moon landing.
As a plaintext customs form, it can be considered to fall below the threshold of originality; furthermore, every component of the document -- including the signatures of Armstrong, Aldrin, and Collins -- was composed by employees of the United States Federal Government in the performance of their official duties. |
