Deutsch: Sühnekreuz-Eiche in Schöneiche bei Berlin; Naturdenkmal; der Legende nach eigenhändig vom damaligen Besitzer des Dorfes Schöneiche, Hans Adam, gepflanzt, als Sühne für die Tötung von Dietlof von Barfus 1763 in einem Duell. Er ersetzte ein Sühnekreuz, das an der Kleinschönebecker Dorfkirche verbaut wurde, nach seiner Rückkehr nach Schöneiche (wohl 1780) und vor dem Verkauf des Dorfes (1790).
English: Atonement cross oak ("Sühnekreuz-Eiche") in Schöneiche bei Berlin; Natural monument; according to legend planted by hand by the then owner of the village Schöneiche, Hans Adam, as an atonement for killing Dietlof of Barfus 1763 in a duel. It replaced an atonement cross that was reused at the Klein-Schönebecker village church, planted after his return to Schöneiche (probably 1780) and before the sale of the village (1790).
