DE KUNST GAAT DOOR HET VRIJE LAND; Weekjournaal van Polygoon Hollands Nieuws van week 23 uit 1946.; In Nederland begint het culturele leven weer op gang te komen. Allerlei culturele manifestaties gaan het land in: - het Radio Philharmonisch Orkest vertrekt voor een uitvoering olv Albert van Raalte naar het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam; - acteurs trekken per bus het land in voor het geven van toneelvoorstellingen (toneelgroep "Start" met "Lysistrota" mmv Rob de Vries, Jenny van Maerlant, Loudi Nijhoff, Albert van Dalsum en Julia Cuypers); - in een Amsterdamse volkswijk bezoeken de mensen een schilderijententoonstelling, ingericht in hun eigen buurt ("Ons Huis" in de Molenstraat); - div. kunstenaars aan het werk: beeldhouwer Hildo Krop, schilder Kees Maks(?), glazenier Mathieu Wiegman(?), danseres Marie-Jeanne van Veen en harpiste Rosa Spier.
