Description
English: The Docklands Light Railway in the early years, with first generation trains, later sold to Essen in Germany. Post modernist buildings are going up . I think this is West India quay looking south west. The train has come from Island Gardens. Canary Whart station has not yet been built. Canary Wharf station is just being built

West India QUay station was re-opened in 1993 after shutting in 1991 for rebuilding. (after opening of Canary Wharf, I think, in November)

A blog forum indicates that on the left is a Liebherr 50 HB Crane
