Description View from the kitchen of the house in Carey Street Darwin rented by Ken and Dawn Hodge in 1962. Although this house survived Cyclone Tracy it was demolished in 2002 for the construction of a high rise apartment block for Defence Housing. This house had a very depressing view from the kitchen of the Shell fuel tanks off McMinn Street.
