by Alexander Kargaltsev Мой хороший друг Дайв (так я ласково его называю) неистово боготворит мои работы и отчаянно зовет в Лос-Анжелес с ним сотрудничать (я пока не могу покинуть Нью-Йорк, но речь сейчас не об этом). Дайв любит мне часто рассказывать об Энди Уорхоле, например, был такой случай... Осенью 1986 года друзья Энди во главе с его агентом пошли пристраивать 4 уорхоловские работы в Музей Современного искусства (MoMa), музей отказал! Друзья решили не расстраивать гения, и не сказали ему о провале, тем более, что Metropolitan museum был очень в них заинтересован. Через пару месяцев так случилось, что Энди умер. И тогда MoMa увесил все свое здание от подвала до чердака его работами! Шапель ходил по залам музея и не втыкал: "Мы ведь действительно жили рядом с гением"... Друзья, цените живых, мертвым все равно. |
