Groundfloor, local grade listed building. Built in the Mid 19th century or before, its facade made in around 1900. Owned by manager of the Csurgó Estate and grain merchant. Albert Schertz (1812 or 1813-1897). Facade plaque: "Hope never dies / If every last straw is from that manger! Gáspás Nagy (1949-2007), Kossuth Prize-winning poet who left behind a unique oeuvre with his courage, commitment and artistic credibility fearing for Hungarians, spent his summer vacations in this house: his short novel Kanizsa Castle (back) is a literary memorial to Kanizsa of old times//Claimed by the literature-loving audience of Kanizsa city, 2008" - 6 Deák Square, Nagykanizsa, Zala County, Hungary.

Földszintes épület Az épület a 19. század közepén már állt, de mai homlokzata a század végéről származhat. Schertz Albert (1812 v. 1813-1897), a csurgói uradalmat is bérlő gabonakereskedő háza volt.
