De bewoners van de Schiedamse dijk gaan hengelen; Weekjournaal van Polygoon Hollands Nieuws van week 27 uit 1935.; Groep mensen uit éénzelfde straat trekt - gewapend met hengels - in optocht met muzikale begeleiding naar viswater. Aldaar wordt gehengeld en spelen zich enkele komische taferelen af waarbij oa vissers in het water vallen. SHOTS: -optocht van hengelaars met muziekkorps voorop en een tweede orkest in laadbak vrachtauto, veel publieke belangstelling ter weerszijden op de stoepen 54'; -vissers zitten/staan te hengelen waarbij oa enkele komische acts 1'11'.
