De haringvloot kiest weer zee; The herring fleet sets sails again; In Scheveningen worden in de vissershaven de haringloggers in gereedheid gebracht. Enkele dagen later varen de schepen uit.  SHOTS: - de schepen liggen aan de kade; op de kade inspecteren vissers een uitgerold visnet; lege tonnen, visnetten, kisten, manden etc. worden aan boord van de schepen gebracht; een matroos gaat aan boord met zijn plunjezak; - de schepen liggen gepavoiseerd langs de kade; een enorme menigte flaneert erlangs;  - een enorme massa mensen in de haven en op de pier zwaait de schepen uit, als ze, de volgende dag, uitvaren.; Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.; ; In the fishing port of Scheveningen the herring luggers are made ready. A few days later the ships set sail. SHOTS: - the ships at the quay; fishermen inspect a rolled out fishing net on the quay; empty barrels, fishing nets, boxes, baskets etc. are taken aboard the ships; a sailor goes aboard with his duffel bag; - the dressed ships lie along the quay; a huge crowd strolls past the ships; - a huge crowd in the harbour and on the pier waves goodbye to the ships as they sail off the next day.
