Original description: This is a unique specimen of delindeite from the Benitoite Gem Mine. The stacked plate-like crystals of red delindeite was deposited first and acted almost as a repulsive agent while a benitoite crystal grew around it. The delindeite group is approximately 2.5 mm across. There is another group deeper within the benitoite crystal. A Joaquinite-Ce crystal is visible in the back ground. It was found from mine run material purchased from Bryan Lees in 2010 and was part of the material mined by Collector's Edge in 2003. Identification was performed by Mike Rumsey at the British Museum of Natural History in London.

Beschreibung: Dies ist ein Delindeit-Unikat aus der Benitoite Edelsteingrube. Die gestapelten plattenförmigen Kristalle aus roten Delindeit wurde zuerst abgeschieden und agierte fast als abstoßendes Mittel, während ein Benitoidkristall um ihn herum wuchs. Die Delindeit-Gruppe ist etwa 2,5 mm breit. Es gibt eine weitere Gruppe tiefer im Benitoidkristall. Im Hintergrund ist ein Joaquinit-Ce-Kristall sichtbar. Diese Probe wurde im Fördermaterial gefunden und von Bryan Lees im Jahr 2010 gekauft. Es war Teil des Materials, dass durch Collector's Edge im Jahr 2003 gefördert wurde. Identifiziert wurde die Probe von Mike Rumsey im British Museum of Natural History in London.
