Lost heroes of Miskolc/Fallen heroes of Miskolc by Péter Szanyi (2003 works, related to the 1956 Hungarian Revolution and World War II) About: the base is a circe three meters high truncated pyramid, on its is a bronze statue, four nude men these hold a coffin. - This replaced a Liberation monument by József Somogyi (moved away in 1999) and Soviet obelisk (install 1945, demolished/moved in 1976). At back left ~Miskolci SZC Gergely Berzeviczy Technical School (Est. 1886). - Hősök Square, Downtown, Miskolc, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, Hungary.

Miskolc város elesett hősei (Felállítás 2003, Szanyi Péter). Az ötalakos kompozíció egy piramis alakú posztamensen áll, mely piramis csúcsa lépcsőfokokban végződik, melyen a szoboralakok lépkednek felénk. A piramis posztamensen olvasható az 1956. október 23-ai dátum, és a „Miskolc városelesett hőseinek” felirat." A ruhátlan, puskás, zászlós férfiak által tartott 'koporsóra' körben a Szózatból idézett az alkotó. - Korábban itt állt: Szovjet hősi obeliszk (Elbontás 1976. július 22., Felállítás 1945. május 1., Emil Mironovics (tervező), fekete gránit obeliszk) ill. Felszabadulási emlékmű (Somogyi József, ?-Elbontás 1999). - Hátul balra Miskolci SZC Berzeviczy Gergely Technikum. jobbra Magyar Államkincstár Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén Megyei Területi Igazgatóság épülete (Hősök tere 3.)
