Description
Deutsch: Dießen am Ammersee, Ortsteil Romenthal, Kapelle St. Anna. Detail: Deckengemälde. Auch dieses Fresko ist der Hl. Anna gewidmet, wobei jedoch Gott Vater die Bildmitte dominiert. Links davon, schräg nach unten, der auferstandene Christus vor dem leeren Kreuz, und dazwischen eine Taube als Symbol für den Hl. Geist. Unterhalb von Gott Vater hält Anna das Kind Maria (mit Goldkrone) auf ihrem Schoß. Schräg rechts unter ihnen hält ein Engel ein Spruchband mit dem Text „TOTA PULCHRA ES MARIA“. Unterhalb von Christus, am Bildrand, werden die damals bekannten vier Erdteile personalisiert in vier Gestalten: Europa (eine Frau im Hermelinmantel mit Kaiserkrone), Afrika (ein Schwarzer im Hermelinmantel mit Köcher und Pfeilen), Amerika (ein Mann mit Federschmuck) und Asien (ein kahlköpfiger Mann im Hermelinmantel). Ganz unten am Bildrand, in der Perspektive dieser Aufnahme kaum mehr zu sehen, findet sich die Signatur des Deckengemäldes: Franziscus Kirzinger pinx. 1757.

Die beiden das gesamte Deckengemälde umfassenden lateinischen Bibelzitate in Goldbuchstaben lauten:

OBVIABIT ILLI QUASI MATER HONORIFICATA. ECCLI.15, v.2

(„Sie geht ihm entgegen wie eine Mutter.“ – Jesus Sirach 15,2 [Einheitsübersetzung 1979]) und

(„Doch bete du jetzt für uns, denn du bist eine gottesfürchtige Frau.“ – Judith 8,31, nicht 29 [Einheitsübersetzung 1979])
