Description
Deutsch: Dießen am Ammersee, Ortsteil Romenthal, Kapelle St. Anna. Detail: Totenbrett für den Romenthaler Stanislaus Hübel aus dem Jahr 1837. Im Kopfbereich des Gedenk-Totenbrettes wird der auferstandene Christus auf der Weltkugel stehend gezeigt, darunter der Text aus Johannes 11, Vers 25, wo Christus zu Martha spricht: „Ich bin die Auferstehung und das Leben. Wer an mich glaubt, der wird leben, ob er auch gleich gestorben wäre“. Darunter die Widmung: „Mit diesem Denkmale ehren die trauernden Kinder die Asche ihres unvergeßlichen Vaters Stanislaus Hübel, gewester Rommerthaler von hier. Er endete sanft und christlich zu Wessobrun den 7ten August 1837, versehen mit allen heiligen Sterb-Sakramenten im 72 ten Jahre seines Alters. Er ruhe in Frieden“
