| Description |
English: I could hear the approaching Cumbrian Mountain Express as it headed from Ribblehead to Blea Moor Tunnel. The morning mizzle had all but stopped and the forest was starting to steam as 46233 steamed by. This is taken from the access land just across from Dent Station but it didn't allow for a walk to Arten Gill as it is a "closed field" (like quite a few CROW fields are) so it was a lap of the field and back to the gate where I entered. And I then did an even longer lap of the next field up. No trip to Arten Gill but the views from the Dent Station paddock were just fine. |
