double mutant embryos heart cells (labeled by Hand-GFP) are correctly specified but AM fibers are missing. At stages 15 to 17 some dissociated PCs are observed at intermediate distance to the cardiomyocytes (arrowheads), only a single PC can be found at large distance to the heart (arrow).
