Notes
English: Originally on the back of the animal was a small figurine of a

boy with a club in the raised hands. Holes in the sculpture confims the existence of the figurine. The sculpture was vandalised by Swedish and Brandenburgian soliders (graffitti: Gasparus, Hans, Schwebs, Achim) and looted in 1655. Some overloaded ships with spoils of war settled on the shallow or sink. The Dolphin sculpture was discovered in 1906 in Vistula.
According to Adam Jarzębski the Villa Regia garden (today Kazimierzowski Palace) was adorned with the following sculptures:

  1. Hercules fighting the centaur Nessus
  2. Horse bitten by a snake
  3. Sundial with a statue of a soldier with a rapier
  4. Fountain of Neptune
  5. Fountain with a Cupid on a dolphin
  6. Statue of a Cupid
