St. Peter's Church (Church of Ireland), Peter's Hill, Drogheda, County Louth, Ireland


English: Bust of the monument in memory of Revd John Magee, vicar of St. Peter's. He was son of William Magee, archbishop of Dublin, and father of William Connor Magee, archbishop of York. The bust was sculpted by John Smyth (1776–1840) in 1837. (See Rita Larkin, Smyth, John. Sculpture 1600–2000, Art and Architecture of Ireland, vol. III, pp. 324–325; entries in the Dictionary of National Biography for William Magee and William Connor Magee.) This monument is located at the south wall of the chancel.
