English: 6M50 Torness NPS-Carlisle loaded Nuclear Flasks prepares to depart the Torness loading point alongside the ECML at 15.07 in the capable hands of DRS Class 57s 009 & 011. The North Sea forms a backdrop to this bleak and windswept part of the east coast.
The crane has lifted the flask from the very American looking "truck" used to transport it the short distance from the power station to the loading point and lowered it into position on the FNA. |
