Aan weerskanten ervan, op de wallekant, staan twee fraai geklede dames: de ene zeeft mannen, de ander vist in de mannenvijver. Beiden zijn, zo vertellen de teksten in het bijbehorende epigram, te kieskeurig geweest wat de keuze van de mannen betreft. Het schrale gevolg is dat zij uiteindelijk alleen overblijven.
