Description |
English: Named for a family who homesteaded in the Rainier Valley, Dunlap School opened in 1904 on Trenton St. between 48th and 50th South. An earlier one-room schoolhouse had been built a different site. This new school was designed by the architect James Stephen and served students in the Rainier Valley until 1924 when it closed.
