EEN NIEUW CARILLON; Weekjournaal van Polygoon Hollands Nieuws van week 28 uit 1939.; Officiële ingebruikneming van het nieuwe carillion van de Grote Kerk te Hoorn, dat oa een geschenk was van de inwoners van de stad. SHOTS: - div. stadsshots van Hoorn (geluid van spelend carillion) met oa beelden van het Waaggebouw en standbeeld van Jan Pieterszoon Coen; - (mediumshot) toespraak door de burgemeester van Hoorn, H.C. Leemhorst; - klokketoren Grote Kerk (geluid van spelend carillion), van een afstand bekeken door aantal belangstellenden.
