Description
English: Old elevator in abandoned factory. Such type elevators have been forbidden in apartment buildings by Khrushchev's decree in 1960. To replace elevators with manual door, there came KMZ elevators with automatic doors, which have been installed since 1960 till 1989 in Soviet tower blocks. But as nothing is perfect, new elevators also had lack, cause children found new entertainment as riding elevators on the roof and spoiling some equipment there. Also nowadays they already exhausted themself and need to be replaced, but as public services have no money to replace them, they still operate being outdated and working with unpleasant noises.
