Schneider Flies to Wichita. Wichita, Kansas; August 16, 1930 (Associated Press) Eddie Schneider, 18-year-old Westfield [sic], New Jersey youth, attempting to establish a new junior transcontinental flight record, arrived here tonight at 7:45. He had left St. Louis at 1:25 p.m.

The article says that he was "Westfield, New Jersey youth" which is is incorrect. The plane left from the Westfield, New Jersey airport, but he was a resident of Jersey City, New Jersey.
