Text
editFutile Efforts. Floyd Bennett Field, New York. Police and coast guardsmen try futilely to revive Edward Schneider, a flying instructor, and George Wilson Herzog, student pilot, after their small plane collided with a United States Naval Reserve plane Monday, and crashed into an arm of the sea west of Floyd Bennett Field, New York. The naval plane, not seriously damaged, made a safe landing.
Notes
editHe was always "Eddie Schneider" and never "Edward Schneider". His death certificate and passport application list him as "Eddie Schneider".
