Eddie Schneider, 18-year-old Jersey City youth, in the cockpit of the airplane in which he is preparing to hop off from here to Los Angeles in an effort to lower the record for junior aviators made by the late Frank Goldsborough. Goldsborough made the flight to Los Angeles in 33 hours, and the return voyage in 29."
