Beschrijving : Eerste bewoners Molenwijk te Amsterdam. Familie Uffen in de flat ontvangen een [kleine vergulde molen]

as i belief, it is taken from the flat named ``bovenkruier`` ... in opposite of the ``bergmolen`` the flat you see out of the window, .. as i hope still can guesstimate the dimensions, it was the 6th or 7th floor ,,,,,guess house nr 44, 45,46 or 47... guess nr 46, or in case 7th floor 53 54 55 or 56 , guess nr 54.

out of the window looking over ``tuindorp (gardenvillage)`` and onto the shipyard ``NDSM`` in the back you see the cranes and the enormous construction halls...and a little to the right of the NDSM as well in the background ``the AMFERT`` amsterdam fertiliser....

i moved to the ``handmolen`` june 1 1969 , i remember sitting on the ground becouse still no furniture delivered watching the apollo to the moon that flew in june , wasnt it apollo 10 ??? testing of the LM called snoopy ... i was 5 yrs old then.

Picture 2AR4MGF shows the bovenkruier flat , the paltrok and if you look between the 2 flats you can see a little piece of the bergmolen .. the picture was taken out of flat grondzeiler , the flat handmolen where i lived is on the left side of the garage that is under construction in the picture , sadly it doesnt show the handmolen, it is more to the left out of the edge of the picture..

the chimney to the right of the flat bovenkruier is the electricity powerplant ``hemweg centrale`` and to the right of it , oiltanking and comos ... oil traders and storage.... in the middle u see flat ``dierenriem`` and new houses ... that was the part of tuindorp that was called ``the gold-coast`` for the better financially-situated.

more to the right you can actually see the upper crew and bridge structure of an oiltanker coming from oiltanking or comos going back to the north sea over the ``noordhollands kanaal`` ..

and between the visable upper structure of the oiltanker and the flat ``dierenriem`` you can see PHILIPS-DUPHAR .... as they nicely know to put it ,crop-protection .... there they produced insecticides and herbicides .
