English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Cooks demonstrate the preparing of mess tins of warm food in the first mobile field kitchen of the Bescherming Bevolking (Protection of the Civilian Population). The kitchen is meant to be able to prepare large amounts of meals in emergency situations. The kitchen machines are fixed on eight large lorries that can be connected. The train is totally self-supporting, there are lorries equiped for permanent accomodation of staff and for the energy supply.

Koks demonstreren het klaarmaken van gamellen warm eten in de eerste mobiele veldkeuken die ter beschikking komt van de Bescherming Bevolking. De keuken is bedoeld om in noodsituaties grote hoeveelheden maaltijden klaar te kunnen maken. De keukenmachines zijn gemonteerd op acht grote vrachtwagens die worden aaneengekoppeld. De trein is geheel zelfvoorzienend, er zijn wagens ingericht voor permanent verblijf van personeel en voor eigen energievoorziening. |
