Español: Las celebraciones del IV Centenario de la Plaza Mayor recuperarán el próximo sábado 7 de octubre los desfiles festivos que, a lo largo de los siglos XVII y XVIII, se celebraban por la calles de la capital con motivo de acontecimientos religiosos, profanos e incluso como homenaje a miembros de la realeza que entraban en Madrid. Fiesta Barroca, nombre que se le ha dado al desfile, arrancará en la Plaza de Oriente y, tras recorrer la calle Mayor, llegará a la Plaza Mayor donde serán recibidos por su majestad el rey, Felipe III. |
