Description
Français : Né le 2 mai 1895 à Trouy (Cher), Sylvain Julien est mobilisé en décembre 1914 et part sur le front en mai 1915 avec le 56e régiment d'infanterie comme caporal. Il est blessé à la cuisse et au mollet le 14 octobre 1915 à Tahure (Marne). Après sa convalescence, il rejoint le 27e régiment d'infanterie et s'embarque pour le front d'Orient en janvier 1917. Il est rapatrié en France en avril 1918 et devient sergent dans des bataillons d'instruction. Revenu à la vie civile, il exerce sa profession de pâtissier et d'employé de commerce à Bourges. Il est à nouveau mobilisé en 1939 et se porte volontaire dans les forces françaises de l'intérieur à la Libération dans le nord de l'Indre.
