Description
English: Coat of arms of an hidalgo, preserved in the Museo Arqueológico Municipal de Cartagena. In the explanatory note that accompanies the sculpture the following description is read:

Field coat of arms divided into four:

  1. Split in two: the first has a gold band enrobed with two dragant lions and the second brings a silver castle gules loaded with eight sable ems, corresponding to the Santa Marina surname.
  2. Rising lion with two eight-pointed stars.
  3. Trellis with a border of eight frames.
  4. Castle with keep and stag, corresponding to the Martinez-Fortún surname.

Above all, a medallion with a donjonado castle.

Hidalgo helmet stamped coat of arms, in profile with open visor revealing four grids and tuft on the upper part.

Folded around the shield are different allegorical elements of the military estates: flags, drumsticks, cannons and an anchor.

Español: Escudo de hidalgo, conservado en el Museo Arqueológico Municipal de Cartagena. En la nota explicativa que acompaña a la escultura se lee le siguiente descripción:

Escudo de campo partido en cuatro:

  1. Partido en dos: primera trae banda de oro engolada con dos leones dragantes y segunda trae de gules castillo de plata cargada con ocho emes de sable, correspondiente al apellido Santa Marina.
  2. León naciente con dos estrellas de ocho puntas.
  3. Enrejado con bordura de ocho sotueres.
  4. Castillo con torre del homenaje y ciervo parado, correspondiente al apellido Martínez-Fortún.

Sobre el todo del todo un medallón con un castillo donjonado.

Escudo timbrado de yelmo de hidalgo, de perfil con visera abierta dejando entrever cuatro rejillas y airón en la parte superior.

Acolados alrededor del escudo se observan distintos elementos alegóricos de los estamentos militares: banderas, baquetas, cañones y un áncora.
